Churkee Farm Stay

Your journey begins with a seamless pickup from your accommodation, scheduled between 7:00 - 7:30 am. The early morning air promises adventure, and as we set out, the anticipation grows. En route, we will make a stop at a local market, an authentic slice of daily life where you can witness the hustle and bustle of vendors and shoppers. This pause not only allows us to gather necessary supplies for our expedition but also provides a moment to stretch our legs and take a restroom break.

As we continue our journey, we'll pass by the Hoi Tong Karen Hilltribe village, a testament to the rich culture of the region. This village acts as a prelude to the starting point of our hiking trail. Ahead lies an approximately 6-hour trek that navigates the lush borders of Doi Inthanon and Mae Wang National Parks. This path promises both adventure and serenity. You'll be treated to the calming melodies of the rainforest, while the diverse fauna and flora compete for your attention. Midway, the trail unveils a hidden gem - a picturesque waterfall. Here, we will halt to bask in its beauty. Dive into its inviting waters for a refreshing swim or simply relax by its side, taking in the ambiance. This very spot also offers us a scenic spot for lunch, with the cascading waters serving as our backdrop.

Our hike concludes at the Churkee Farm Stay, a haven of relaxation where you will spend the night. The establishment exudes warmth and tradition. Should curiosity pique your interest, you have the opportunity to discover the farm's traditional herbal steam room. Your guide will regale you with tales of the medicinal herbs that the Karen people have cherished for centuries. These very herbs, when infused in steam, offer a plethora of health benefits. Should you wish to indulge in this herbal steam experience, do let us know in advance, as the necessary herbs need to be foraged and prepared. As the night dawns, you'll be treated to a sumptuous traditional Thai dinner, lovingly prepared by your guide. As the day comes to an end, the warmth of a fire beckons, inviting you to relax and reminisce about the day's adventures.
