In this 3-day trek you will hike from the Vrata Valley to the roof of Slovenia, Mount Triglav. During this trek you will be assisted by Dean Strosar, a local guide who knows Slovenian mountains like no other. He will lead you over the summit to end up back in the Vrate Valley via a big loop. On the way you will spend two nights in Dom na Kredarica (2515m), the highest Slovenian mountain hut.
All the equipment you need for the via ferrata is included. This trek is designed to allow enough time to traverse the most challenging parts of the trek. Go for this trek if you choose the convenience of a guide but don't avoid the challenge.
Today you will get up early, because the big moment is here; the climb to Mount Triglav. Make sure you have a hearty breakfast, as this intensive hiking day is not to be underestimated. The path to the summit is steep and rocky, but with beautiful views. The guide will accompany you throughout the hike, helping you if needed. At the summit, we take some time to rest and enjoy the breathtaking views.
We then cross the summit of Mount Triglav to trek towards Dom Planika pod Triglavom (2401m), where we can enjoy lunch for a while. In the afternoon, we find our way back to Dom na Krederica (2515m), where we spend another night.
All necessary transfers (bus, taxi, private transport, etc.) as described in the itinerary are included.
